We will take an In-depth look at each Prestige Cuvée.
CHAMPAGNE SPÉCIAL CLUB
Established in 1971 by 12 of the oldest families of the Champagne Region. The aim was to promote the concept of terroir, estate bottled grower Champagne in France and abroad at a time when little was known about these wines.
Spécial Club Champagne is bottled in a specifically designed, distinctive bottle making it easy to identify the
Spécial Club bottling for consumers.
The Tête de Cuvee or the Prestige Cuvée of each grower must be produced, bottled and aged at the member's estate, including a minimum of three years aging on lees. Blind tasted and peer reviewed by a rotating group of oenologists and winemakers, ensuring the Prestige Cuvée represents the highest achievement of the cellar.
