This is a 50/50 blend of Premier Cru Pinots from the Montagne de Reims. Possessing a pale golden colour, the nose reveals red berries, dried fruit and grilled almonds. Elegant and fine, the flavours build on the palate. Lovely red fruit characters, with a marvellous balance between succulence and lively, fresh acidity. The silky texture builds with a long, spicy finish. Amour de Cuvée is rich, delightfully indulgent...and made to share!
Chigny and Ludes unite in a savoury and understated blanc de noirs of bright, medium straw hue and red apple skin and pear character, with subtle red berry persistence. Fine tannin grip and phenolic bite make for a grainy mouthfeel and a dry, firm finish. It nonetheless upholds good persistence, elegant acid line and well-integrated dosage. 89pts Tyson Stelzer 'Champagne Guide 2020-2021'
