Salmon’s prestige cuvée is an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the vintages of 2004 and 2005. Produced from their oldest vines, the wines also receive eight months maturation in oak barriques. With a golden yellow colour, the nose shows smoky, vanilla bean, and honeyed aromas. The palate is quite full and powerful with layers of exotic fruits, gingerbread, honey and brioche. The oak maturation has added creaminess and complexity with layers of caramel and wood smoke. Very classy with great weight and intensity.
