This is a rare gem indeed! 100% Chardonnay from the grand cru of Aÿ, a village legendary for Pinot Noir. Chiquet achieved some fame as the only producer of a Blanc de Blanc in this heralded village.

Chardonnay from Aÿ, is rich, powerful, and expressive, and this is a fine example. Lifted aromatics of freshly baked bread, creamy notes with layers of citrus, spice, and lemon confit. On the palate rich, round and filling, very textural - quite weighty but with perfect mineral acidity, leaving a clean, dry finish. Lovely champagne. 

Although labelled non-vintage it is from the excellent 2020 vintage. 36 months on lees, 3g/ltr dosage
