Finesse and opulence truly characterise this cuvée. Rich and intense on the palate yet still retains wonderful elegance and finesse. Aromas of brioche, honey and spice with notes of fresh citrus and wild flowers combine very well. A lovely spine of fresh acidity keeps the wine on a fine edge, which keeps you wanting more and more!  The fruit is sourced from three villages; 25 % Villevenard (fruitiness) , 25 % Allemant (structure) , 50% Etoges (minerality), the average vine age is an impressive 35 years.

Attractive fresh lemons and dried peaches with dried flowers on the nose here. The palate has a succulent, lively and fleshy feel with a very smooth, silky and assertively fresh texture on the palate. Neat, fresh finish. 91pts James Suckling

Base wine is 2017 (65%) with 35% reserves from the five previous vintages. 48 months on lees with a further 12 months ageing before release. Dosage 9g/l
