If you think that Meunier lacks finesse and elegance, you obviously haven't tried the wines from Champagne Salmon. 100% Meunier cuvées are quite rare but this showcases just how good the variety can be on its own. Rich, round and fleshy on the palate, creamily textured with layers of citrus, stone fruits and baked apple notes. Although rich and full flavoured, there is a wonderful core of acidity giving a spine of freshness and a long, persistent finish. 100% Meunier from Salmon's Chaumuzy vineyards. The base wine is a blend of 60% 2017 and reserves. Dosage 7gms/ltr Disgorged 02/02/21
